Maxxis Relix 700X25C Folding Road Bike Tyre Black

Racing tyres are designed with lightweight in mind, the lighter the tyre the quicker the rider can accelerate. Choosing a slick tyre surface further reduces rolling resistance. However, lightweight generally comes at the expense of tyre durability and it’s resistance to cope with punctures, although puncture resistant race tyres are also available. One such tyre is the Maxxis Relix, the latest in a long line of race ready road clincher tyres from Maxxis. The Relix uses the lightest and most supple 170 TPI casing (ONE70) along with the SilkShield puncture protection, which protects both the sidewalls and the underside of the tread. Dual compound Technology is comprised of a hard, longer lasting centre and a softer gripping shoulder.
