Make Sure You Wear It Correctly For Best PerformanceTo get the most from your body protector the chest protector it should be positioned centrally along the vertical line of the sternum (breastbone) for maximum protection. To ensure maximum defence of the back area, it needs to be located centrally along the line of the spine, with the widest part of the back protector extending over the scapulae (shoulder blades) and with the lower edge of the back protector ending as close to the base of the spine as is comfortable. Elbow and Forearm protectors should be positioned centrally on the elbow and along the line of the ulna (forearm) bone to the little finger. Care should be taken to ensure that shoulder protectors are placed in position from halfway between the shoulder point and neck, down onto the upper arm; symmetrically, or biased to the front to give more frontal protection.
