Good value robust rack
By: splashdad on 14 July 2017Inexpensive alloy and steel rack. Designed to fit disc brake bikes so the rear mounts are set quite wide. If your bike has the appropriate mounting points then fitting should be easy. My bike required a bracket to be made up for the brake mount point and I had to bend the top mounting pieces to get it to fit. I did find that the rack was not made square so I did have to make a few "adjustments" to make it fit. Even so it doesn't fit quite central. Normally carry about 5kg+ in a pannier bag which it handles without any issues. It does have a rear mounting point for a light, if you can find one that has the right mounts and the rack has a plate to act as a mudguard. Comes with various nuts and bolts but depending on your bike it may require some additional hardware to fit. Weight about 1kg
